L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Senior Associate, Software Engineering to join our Ground Software and Image Science discipline within SGS Group. You will develop and sustain software solutions in a classified environment supporting national defense programs.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, coding in Java/C++/Python, and collaboration across cross-functional teams. A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required, and the position offers a 9/80 schedule with alternate Fridays

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a mission-focused team environment.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI or SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assess, troubleshoot, and triage deployed software in operational environments.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using Java, C++, Python.
• Support software deployment, integration, and sustainment activities in Linux environments.
• Diagnose and resolve software defects, performance issues, and system integration problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and mission teams to deliver reliable software capabilities.
• Support debugging, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for fielded systems.
• Participate in software design, code reviews, testing, and configuration management processes.
• Ensure software solutions meet mission, security, and performance requirements.
