Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of Java, C++, Python, or TypeScript (React/Angular).
• Experience owning the full development cycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and delivery.
• Experience debugging production software and tracing root causes across components or layers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain technical decisions and trade-offs.
• Experience using AI development tools effectively.
• Experience developing agentic workflows in enterprise software.
• Experience with cloud-native development, APIs, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to influence technical direction through collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end: analyze requirements, design solutions, write code, test, and ship.
• Break complex specifications into tasks with realistic schedules and flag risks early.
• Identify and fix weaknesses in codebase, test coverage, and development processes.
• Investigate and resolve production defects and trace root causes across components.
• Apply secure coding practices and surface vulnerabilities during code reviews.
• Review code from other engineers with rigor and consistency.
• Demonstrate technical leadership by guiding design discussions and aligning stakeholders.
• Coordinate work across multiple engineers for larger initiatives and ensure timely execution.
• Help establish engineering best practices, development standards, and team processes.
• Act as trusted technical contact for a feature area and unblock teammates as needed.
