Cryoport, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Stream-Aligned, to lead technical initiatives and optimize team delivery. You will shape architecture, build core value stream components, and ensure reliability for our life sciences platforms.

You will collaborate with leadership to align engineering efforts with business goals, mentor engineers, and drive best practices across the stack (Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, JSON APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent required; MS preferred.
• 8+ years architecting and maintaining 100,000+ lines of code web apps.
• 5+ years architecting JSON APIs; experience with microservices and containers.

Responsibilities

• Implement scalable, maintainable systems aligned with roadmaps.
• Lead architecture reviews and drive technical decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate goals into requirements.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and foster technical ownership.
