Job summary

Space Systems Integration, in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to serve as SME in developing, deploying, and sustaining National Security Space systems. You will design, integrate, and optimize data-driven software to enable mission execution across complex environments.

The role emphasizes Palantir Foundry, MOSA architectures, Agile/DevSecOps, cross-domain data fusion, and DoD compliance with 25% travel. Strong collaboration with government and industry stakeholders is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in CS/SE or related field with 14+ years (or Master’s with 12+; PhD/JD with 9+).
14+ years total DoD/IC mission environment software experience.
Palantir Foundry/Gotham experience in data integration / decision support.
Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, and cloud-enabled architectures.
Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility and willing to polygraph.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mission-focused software using Palantir Foundry tools and messaging technologies.
Architect MOSA-compliant, modular, interoperable software for multi-domain operations.
Lead Agile & DevSecOps practices to deliver secure capabilities.
Design data integration pipelines to consolidate sensor, intelligence, and C2 data.
Produce system engineering artifacts and support program strategy.
Collaborate with DoD stakeholders and ensure compliance with joint domain standards.
Support software sustainment across secure DoD environments.
Document interfaces and engineering decisions for maintainability.
