Job summary

Space Systems Integration (SSI) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in El Segundo, CA. You will serve as a SME in developing, deploying, and sustaining National Security Space systems, collaborating with government and industry stakeholders to design data-driven solutions for joint domain integration across space, air, ground, cyber, and terrestrial domains.

The role requires extensive hands-on work with Palantir Foundry, Gotham, and modern data integration pipelines, with heavy emphasis on

Qualifications

14+ years of experience in software engineering or related field.
6+ years supporting software engineering, systems integration, or platform implementation in DoD/IC or similar environments.
Experience with Palantir Foundry, Gotham, or similar data platforms.
Experience building data workflows and cross‑platform interoperability.
Experience with Agile software delivery and DevSecOps practices.
Familiarity with cloud-enabled architectures and secure deployment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mission-focused software solutions using Palantir Foundry and related tools.
Architect modular, MOSA-compliant software to enable multi-domain integration.
Lead Agile and DevSecOps practices for secure, iterative delivery.
Design and implement data pipelines to integrate sensor, intelligence, and C2 data across domains.
Support system engineering documents, CONOPs, and integration blueprints.
Collaborate with government and industry stakeholders to align DoD joint domain strategies.
