Job summary

Telos Corporation in Ashburn, VA, is seeking a Senior Network & Systems Engineer to secure and optimize our enterprise IT assets. The role is hybrid, based in Ashburn, with a compensation package and benefits described by Telos, including PTO and 401k.

Responsibilities include managing Cisco network infrastructure, Windows Server and Hyper-V virtualization, AWS GovCloud, and cybersecurity/compliance tasks, with strong emphasis on documentation and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of related experience.
• Advanced hands-on Cisco enterprise networking and TCP/IP knowledge.
• Strong Windows Server administration including AD, DNS, PKI, TLS, Kerberos.
• Experience administering Hyper-V clustered environments.
• PowerShell automation and troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on AWS GovCloud experience; hybrid connectivity.
• Ability to troubleshoot networks, servers, cloud infrastructure and security controls.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot enterprise Cisco network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, DNS, firewall, and performance issues.
• Support secure connectivity between on-premises, AWS GovCloud, partners, customers, and external systems.
• Analyze network traffic using packet captures, Wireshark, PowerShell, Netstat, and monitoring tools.
• Maintain network configurations, diagrams, documentation, and procedures for highly available infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Use PowerShell for administration, automation, and compliance.
