Cherokee Federal is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a government-focused program, delivering secure Windows applications and services across enterprise systems. You will contribute as an experienced developer, guiding architecture and technical decisions.

Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and deploying solutions using .NET (C#, WPF/XAML, C++), ASP.NET Web API, Python, and PowerShell; integrating with IIS; and implementing CI/CD with GitHub/Jira/Jenkins/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, plus six years of experience.
• Experience with secure Windows app development and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as an experienced Software Developer to a government-focused program delivering secure solutions across enterprise systems.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Windows applications, services, and web services using .NET, C++, Python, and PowerShell with IIS integration and secure coding.
• Develop automation scripts for system administration and security tasks.
• Manage cloud-based solutions on AWS and Azure with secure deployment and access controls.
• Use GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, and Confluence for version control, CI/CD, and documentation in an Agile environment.
• Collaborate with customer-specific IT tools to integrate secure authentication and data management.
• Create comprehensive documentation including requirements, design docs, and security artifacts.
