Zusammenfassung

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to analyze, design, develop, test software, focusing on search technologies.

You will translate requirements into scalable code, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead feature design across modules. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of software development experience, proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, and strong knowledge of search tech (Lucene/Solr) and big data tools.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in Java, Scala, and Python.
Java, Object‑Oriented Design
Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Gradle
RESTful web services
Search technologies including full-text search and indexing (e.g., Lucene, Solr)
Large-scale search systems and search architecture
Big Data technologies and the Hadoop ecosystem
Linux/Unix environments and database design principles
Strong communication skills—oral, written, and presentation.
Creative problem‑solving and innovative thinking.
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Desktop)
Graph Search and vector databases
LLMs development experience
Monitoring/observability tools such as New Relic
NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB)
Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Performance optimization and stress testing
