Talent With Heart is seeking a Software Engineer to analyze, design, develop, and test software focusing on search technologies. You will translate business needs into scalable, maintainable code and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features across modules.

The role requires 4+ years of professional experience, strong Java, Scala, and Python skills, and expertise in Spring Boot/Spring Framework, REST, and Lucene/Solr. Columbus, OH on-site position.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, and Python.
• Expert-level knowledge in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Gradle, RESTful web services, and search technologies such as Lucene and Solr.
• Experience with Big Data technologies and the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and database design principles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.
