Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement scalable software focused on advanced search technologies in a fast-paced environment. You will analyze requirements, develop new features, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

The role requires strong Java/Scala/Python skills, expertise in Spring Boot and RESTful services, and hands-on experience with Big Data and Hadoop.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in Java, Scala, and Python.
Expert-level knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and search technologies (Lucene, Solr).
Experience with Big Data and Hadoop ecosystem.
Strong Linux/Unix and database design fundamentals.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, and test software with a focus on search technologies.
Translate requirements into scalable, maintainable code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and delegate development tasks effectively.
Lead design and implementation of new features and enhancements across multiple system modules.
Conduct and participate in unit, system, performance, and acceptance testing; recommend and implement improvements.
Champion innovation in search technologies, staying current with emerging trends and tools.
Drive the development and interpretation of technical requirements and specifications.
