ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and test software focused on advanced search technologies. You will translate business requirements into scalable code and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust features.

The role requires strong Java, Scala, and Python skills, experience with large-scale search systems, and familiarity with Linux/Unix and databases. You will contribute to performance, reliability, and innovation across multiple modules.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, and Python.
• Expert-level Java: Object‑Oriented Design; Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Gradle.
• RESTful web services and search technologies (Lucene, Solr).
• Large-scale search systems and search architecture.
• Big Data technologies and Hadoop ecosystem.
• Linux/Unix environments and database design principles.
• Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Creative problem‑solving and innovative thinking.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, design, develop, and test software with a focus on search technologies.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable code.
