Job summary

Culture Biosciences is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with SDET experience to help build Console, our cloud bioprocessing platform. You will design and develop scalable applications that connect scientific workflows, cloud infrastructure, and lab hardware.

This role spans frontend and backend, with emphasis on testing automation and production reliability. You will collaborate across software, hardware, and scientific teams, mentor peers, and contribute to software development best practices

Qualifications

6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience as SDET, Test Infrastructure Engineer, or similar automation role.
Experience scaling full‑stack apps (frontend + backend).
You are product‑oriented, user-focused, and technically rigorous.
You communicate well in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Build a single-box emulator of the full stack for release testing today.
Shape tests for hardware-in-the-loop systems from unit to end-to-end runs.
Define verification, traceability, and documentation for changes.
Design and build features for Console, our cloud bioprocess software.
Collaborate with software, hardware, and science teams to translate requirements.
Mentor engineers and promote strong development practices.
Learn about biotechnology and bioprocess development.
