Job summary

KBI Biopharma is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance data-centric platforms supporting drug development. You will build and scale cloud-based, open and proprietary tools for data exchange, analysis and visualization, collaborating with scientists and engineers across teams.

You have 5+ years in software with a data focus, expert Python and JavaScript/TypeScript skills, and a passion for building robust, scalable systems that accelerate biopharma workflows.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Software Engineering, CS, Data Science or equivalent with substantial CS training.
• 5+ years building software, preferably with data focus.
• Proficient in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; strong data tooling experience.
• Experience delivering products using modern web frameworks and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software and data tools enabling scientific insights.
• Translate product requirements into robust architectures and task plans.
• Collaborate with SMEs to build data-driven tools and applications.
• Introduce engineering best practices to improve quality and speed to market.
• Interface with scientists, engineers, and management to deliver digital transformation.
