Job summary

GEICO is seeking a Senior Engineer to maintain high standards of compliance, protection and availability within Service and Policy systems. You will help drive our transformation as we move to a tech-driven organization with a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

You will join a team delivering business value by ensuring Service and Policy Systems remain compliant, scalable, and secure, while mentoring peers and sharing best practices across teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software Development in Duck Creek, CBO, Author, and ManuScript.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience within the .NET framework (C# including OO design).
• 3+ years of experience with architecture and design.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems.
• Build product definition and leverage your technical skills to drive towards the right solution.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the software lifecycle.
• Lead in design sessions and code reviews with peers to elevate engineering quality.
• Define, create, and support reusable components/patterns from business and technology perspectives.
