Job summary

System One seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable backend services and front-end integrations for enterprise applications. You will work across microservices, API design, and event-driven patterns using Java/Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, or Dallas, applying robust security patterns (OAuth/JWT), CIAM, and resilient architectures while building UI components with Angular

Qualifications

Experience with containerization and deployment (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
Experience with distributed systems, resiliency, scaling, fault tolerance.
Expertise in API design and integration patterns (REST, secure APIs, contract-first design).
Familiarity with CIAM, OAuth, JWT patterns for authentication/authorization.
Backend service design for complex domains (APIs, orchestration, service-to-service).
Solid understanding of event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar).
Strong debugging and performance tuning across microservices.
Spring Boot / Java experience for microservices.
UI development with Angular or similar for front-end integration.
