Job summary

Tenable is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our core product engineering team. Focused on designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based, state-of-the-art search solutions on top of our customers' evolving infrastructure in a scalable way.

You will help build and maintain a highly scalable, cloud-native UI and underlying microservices using modern languages and technologies, while mentoring peers and shaping the platform's architecture.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of software development experience in enterprise settings.
• Experience with Java or Kotlin and cloud-native microservices.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience building core libraries, infrastructure, and search engines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based, state-of-the-art search solutions.
• Lead features and architectural decisions for the platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to iterate on the product.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and drive technical excellence.
• Contribute to ongoing innovation of the cloud architecture and distributed systems.
