Job summary

Remi is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to craft and maintain core software powering the world’s first three-sided roofing marketplace. You’ll build mobile-friendly homeowner and subcontractor portals, automate workflows, and integrate third-party services to scale roofing projects.

Expect daily learning and growth in a niche, fast-moving space. You’ll collaborate with product managers and designers to ship features, tackling a wide range of technologies and challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent software development experience.
• Ability to solve difficult, ambiguous problems independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep familiarity with modern web development (frontend, databases, networking).
• Fundamental knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and how the web works.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ship features, automations, and integrations using TypeScript and Next.js.
• Resolve complex bugs across the roofing stack.
• Improve security, reliability, and performance of services.
• Lead and collaborate with teammates on difficult technical problems.
• Partner with product managers and designers to deliver on roadmap.
