Otter, based in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own Revenue Recapture, our top revenue-generating product. You will design automated data ingestion, decisioning, filing, and tracking workflows while building scalable Java backends and intuitive front-end interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Revenue Recapture—our highest revenue‑producing product.
• Design and build end‑to‑end automation to improve dispute effectiveness and drive toward a fully “no humans in the loop” process.
• Develop scalable, reliable backend services in Java and build intuitive, maintainable front‑end experiences.
• Increase automation and win rates through experimentation and define and track success metrics.
• Ensure reliability and quality via sound architecture, automated testing, observability, and a focus on high service uptime and resilience.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, Operations, and Support to incorporate customer feedback and turn insights into product and engineering improvements.
