Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years in software/cloud/DevOps roles.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Route53).
• Experience with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/ECS/EKS.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines to enable automated and reliable software delivery.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions with Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.

• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment automation, release processes, and operational readiness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, application, and performance issues across environments.
• Partner with security teams to implement DevSecOps practices including vulnerability management and compliance automation.
• Contribute to cloud architecture reviews and AWS Well-Architected Framework adoption.
• Mentor and coach engineers on DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and automation capabilities.
• Act as a technical resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Explore AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity and delivery outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field plus three (3) years of post-baccalaureate experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps engineering, or a related role.
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure and services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Route53, etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience with source control and repository management using Git and GitHub.
• Experience supporting containerized applications using Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, observability, and application performance tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Experience implementing security controls and DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
• Experience working within Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn, experiment with, and adopt emerging technologies, including AI-powered development, automation, and operational tools.
