DriveTime Family of Brands in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to modernize legacy green‑screen applications into reliable, cloud‑hosted systems. You will design and build full‑stack solutions using Angular and .NET, collaborating with product, business, and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes API design (REST/GraphQL), event‑driven architectures, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full‑stack development experience with C# and .NET
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Hands‑on experience building scalable, distributed systems
• Strong experience developing APIs using RESTful and/or GraphQL approaches
• Solid Angular experience for front‑end development
• Experience designing and working with event‑driven architectures
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including complex queries and stored procedures
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience writing unit tests and supporting high‑quality, maintainable codebases
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud services such as App Services, Functions, and Azure SQL
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack applications using Angular and .NET
• Partner with product owners, business analysts, and technical teams to understand processes and dependencies
• Translate mainframe‑era workflows into clean APIs and services
• Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support front‑end and back‑end integration
• Create Angular‑based single‑page applications with emphasis on usability and performance
• Contribute to event‑driven and workflow‑oriented solutions, including asynchronous processing
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code aligned with engineering best practices
• Own engineering solutions end‑to‑end and drive reliability, observability, and scalability
• Ensure applications meet security, performance, and compliance expectations
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
