Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications in a SaaS environment.
• Proven across the full development stack with modern web technologies.
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails, React, MySQL, AWS, and SOA.
• Solid understanding of Agile processes: Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with Test-Driven-Development and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build a deep understanding of the Affordable Housing domain and own the problem space.
• Develop scalable, robust, and simple web-based solutions using existing tech or from scratch when appropriate.
• Mentor and guide other software engineers.
• Implement new features and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with QA, product owners, and designers in an empowered, high-trust team.
• Work in an agile fashion to deliver thinly sliced deliverables and limit work in progress.
• Research and adopt new technologies to improve the product.
