Job summary

Rhino + Jetty is building a market-leading rental housing platform focused on affordable move-in and streamlined leasing for renters and property managers. The role involves designing scalable software, implementing features, and collaborating with product teams in a remote-first environment.

You will work with a stack including Ruby on Rails, Python, and JavaScript, leverage AWS and Postgres, and apply AI tools to accelerate engineering work while maintaining high security and performance.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience building production-grade, high-volume software systems.

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions that are reliable, fault-tolerant, scalable, and performant.
• Write code (often with AI assistance) to produce quality, readable, testable, maintainable software.
• Participate in code reviews and design sessions.
• Launch new features and services to our customers with high quality customer experiences.
• Work with product managers and your engineering team to size work and understand build options.
• Foster a culture of security and will adopt security best practices throughout Rhino+Jetty’s codebase.
