Lennar is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software for homebuyers and associates. You will work with in-house and outsourcing partners, contributing to architecture, security, and performance across platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement, with a hybrid onsite/remote model and a broad set of technologies including cloud, containers, and modern APIs.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• 5–7 years in software engineering with production software experience.
• Proficiency in web/API development, data structures, and software design.
• Experience in agile environments and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure software applications.
• Contribute to architecture and system design with cross-functional teams.
• Write tests and ensure quality; collaborate with QA and developers.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and help drive process improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead features from concept to delivery.
