Job summary

180 Engineering is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the design, documentation, development, and testing of software solutions. This role focuses on developing commercial software products for external customers. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 5+ years of experience in software development. An excellent problem-solver with strong communication skills is preferred. This remote position is available for candidates in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing commercial software products sold to external businesses (B2B).
• 5+ years of experience designing and developing software systems for web, mobile, cloud (Azure), and desktop environments.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns.
• Experience with configuration management, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to cross-functional project planning and analysis of product requirements.
• Refine software design based on new product requirements.
• Design and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable software code.
• Develop and perform unit, integration, and system testing of applications.
