Job summary

Workiva is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable software across backend (Java, Go, Kotlin) and frontend (TypeScript, React). The role emphasizes modern OOP and AI tooling to accelerate delivery.

You will collaborate with product owners and designers, write tests, perform reviews, mentor teammates, and help shape architecture for service-oriented systems while staying adaptable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong CS foundation: data structures, algorithms, OOP, cloud-based distributed systems.
• Expertise in modern languages such as Dart, React, TypeScript, Go, Java, and Kotlin.
• Proven debugging of complex systems.
• Experience mentoring engineers.
• Experience in agile development environments.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with adaptability.
