Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS or Information Systems.
- Seven years of software development in a multi-dimensional team.
- Energy/Utility industry experience desired.
- Experience with cloud development platforms (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) desired.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and implement AI and automation opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Solve architecture and design problems with technical depth.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed application requirements.
- Design and develop software and lead SDLC activities; mentor staff.
- Lead projects with management oversight and provide SME guidance.
- Provide on-call production support 24x7x365.
- Develop web interfaces following NYISO standards for usability and security.
