Job summary

Imperative Care in Campbell, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design and implementation of software for our robotic platform, focusing on high-performance, real-time visualization and robust infrastructure.

You will work in a cross-functional team to translate clinical and user feedback into software priorities, optimize for low latency, and shape architecture with strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field; 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience with C++ programming and multi-threaded applications.
• Desktop UI development experience (Qt/QML, PyQt, OpenGL, Unity, GTK, WPF, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software applications, embedded technology, or algorithms for robotic platform.
• Develop and test robust, reliable and scalable software infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions based on clinical and user requirements.
• Create high-performance, real-time visualization applications for medical use.
• Maintain documentation for software architecture, coding standards, and development processes.
