Job summary

ZoomInfo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a team spanning the Engagement Intelligence and Chorus Platform domains. You will design and deploy high-volume JVM streaming systems and Python distributed services, integrating with data stores and third-party SDKs.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions across domains, and own end-to-end customer-facing aspects from design through production operations in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Python in production settings (deep expertise in one and working proficiency in the other).
• 3+ years building distributed systems and microservices at scale.
• 3+ years with streaming data platforms (Kafka strongly preferred).
• 4+ years of cloud experience (AWS/GCP).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL stores (Mongo, Elasticsearch).
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy complex distributed systems across two domains.
• Build high-volume streaming data processing services using Kafka to handle millions of data points per day.
• Design and implement real-time engagement-to-CRM mapping systems.
• Develop robust Java-based microservices and Python backend services with RESTful APIs.
• Create third-party integrations using major conference SDKs.
• Own customer-facing aspects of the product end to end.
• Drive architectural decisions spanning data modeling and service boundaries.
• Promote engineering best practices including code review and observability.
