Job summary

ZoomInfo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build high‑volume distributed systems across Engagement Intelligence and Chorus Platform. You’ll design and deploy streaming services using Kafka, implement real‑time mapping to CRM entities, and develop Java microservices and Python backends to handle millions of requests daily.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and promote engineering best practices while collaborating across teams in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Python in production settings (deep expertise in one and working proficiency in the other).
• 3+ years building distributed systems and microservices at scale.
• 3+ years with streaming data platforms (Kafka).
• 4+ years of cloud experience (AWS/GCP).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL stores (Mongo, Elasticsearch).
• Strong RESTful API design skills and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, packaging, and release cycles.
• Strong architectural design skills while remaining hands-on.
• Excellent English communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy complex distributed systems across both domains.
• Build high-volume streaming data processing services using Kafka.
• Design and implement real‑time engagement‑to‑CRM entity mapping systems.
• Develop robust Java-based microservices and Python backends handling millions of requests daily.
• Build third‑party integrations with major conference providers using SDKs.
