Swiftly, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable cloud-based services and real-time data processing. You will work across the stack with Product, Design, and Eng to deliver end-to-end solutions using Java, Python, Node.js, and Vue.js.

The role supports a distributed US-based team and emphasizes growth, collaboration, and high-quality software. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software engineering, API design experience, and proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building real-time data processing systems.
• Comfort applying modern AI tools to accelerate development and quality.
• Full-stack skills across Java, Python, or Node/JavaScript; Vue.js a plus; learn across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and extend products and features that solve customer problems.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to validate needs and approaches.
• Prototype quickly to de-risk projects and iterate to production-ready solutions.
• Deliver incremental value by managing dependencies and demoing progress.
• Communicate trade-offs and document architectural decisions.
• Apply modern software practices for robust, maintainable systems.
• Mentor teammates and engage in code reviews and pairing.
