Job summary

Quantinuum is seeking an Advanced Software Engineer in Broomfield, CO to design and develop a hybrid workflow orchestrator between quantum processors and classical supercomputing resources. You will build scalable orchestration software, develop interfaces to HPC schedulers like Slurm, and collaborate with QPU hardware teams.

The role demands a Bachelor's degree minimum and 5+ years of software development experience in Python, Rust, or C++. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree minimum.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Python, Rust and/or C++.
• U.S. Person required (citizen, permanent resident, or eligible status).
• National security constraint excludes certain foreign nationals unless US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Write high quality, maintainable code in an R&D environment.
• Build and maintain scalable orchestration software for hybrid quantum-classical workflows.
• Develop interfaces between HPC schedulers (Slurm/PBS) and quantum runtimes.
• Work with QPU hardware control systems and SDKs to integrate quantum execution.
• Ensure high availability, monitoring, and debugging of distributed systems.
