Job summary

SRI Resources, based in Orlando, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Quality Engineering to join our Global IAM team. You will design rigorous test strategies, build and maintain automated frameworks, and ensure quality across data-driven systems spanning multiple platforms.

You will partner with developers, product managers, and data scientists to embed quality early in the lifecycle, advocate shift-left testing and TDD, and mentor peers in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

SRI Resources has an immediate, long term contract job opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer - Quality Engineering with a major corporation in Orlando, FL. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Quality Engineering to join our Global Information Security - Identity and Access Management (IAM) group. This group is responsible for providing a Core IAM ecosystem of products and platforms in use across the company by cast members, employees, and partners within our business segments (Sports, Parks, Studios, Streaming) and corporate functions.

What You'll Do: As a Quality Engineer (QE), you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of complex systems and applications across The Company. You will apply a software engineering approach to architect, design, build, test, automate, monitor, and operate applications at scale. This role places a strong emphasis on validating intelligent, data-driven systems - requiring a deep understanding of how to test adaptive algorithms, ensure model integrity, and evaluate system behavior under dynamic conditions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust testing frameworks, drive automation, and champion quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Your work will directly impact the delivery of content, experiences, and products that delight users and uphold our standards of excellence.

• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for systems that incorporate predictive or adaptive logic
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and delivery
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and data specialists to ensure quality is embedded from ideation through deployment
• Conduct exploratory testing and risk analysis for complex, data-intensive systems
• Monitor and report on quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Advocate for best practices in software quality engineering, including test-driven development, shift-left testing, and validation of non-deterministic behaviors
• Stay current with emerging technologies and testing approaches, especially those relevant to intelligent or learning-based systems

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 2+ years previous hands-on working experience as an Quality Engineer
• Proven experience Quality Engineering, with a focus on developing and implementing best testing practices
• Basic understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with AI testing tools and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow Model Analysis, MLflow, PyTest)
• Knowledge of service standards and technologies, including RESTful APIs and microservices
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, especially in complex and data-driven environments
• Experience with tools such as Git, Jira, and CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Ability to interact with developers, data scientists, and technology leaders at a technical level
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and managing asynchronous workflows
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Familiarity with test metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement practices
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Experience with risk management, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) principles and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with SDLC tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Github/Gitlab, Confluence, etc
• 2+ years of experience working with Identity and Access Management systems
• Company work experience (including experience with IAM services such as MyID, AuthZ, Keystone, etc)
• Familiarity with sensitive data handling such as COPPA, PCI and PII, Safe Harbor
• Understanding and exposure to backend development architecture (Java, Go, .NET)
• Master's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, or Business related field or equivalent validated work experience

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
