Job summary

RevSpring is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines using Python and DBT, delivering reliable ETL processes and scalable data transformations. You will collaborate with product managers, data engineers and business leaders to translate requirements into robust software solutions for processing large datasets.

The role requires expertise in Python, DBT, SQL, and data modeling, with experience in healthcare data standards like FHIR and familiarity with Apache

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building data pipelines with Python.
• Hands-on experience building data models and transformations with DBT.
• Knowledge of complex data pipelines utilizing ETL processes.
• 4+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of Git.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers and business leaders to translate requirements into software solutions for processing large data.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Python and DBT; ensure ETL processes run efficiently and reliably.
• Build and maintain integrations for healthcare data using FHIR and related standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and standards.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality codebase.
• Optimize software performance for scalability and reliability.
• Stay updated on data processing trends and apply them to improve products.
• Meet with stakeholders weekly to discuss priorities and requirements.
• Ensure new code is tested and approved by stakeholders and leadership.
• Handle support requests and resolve errors promptly across time zones.
