Job summary

RevSpring is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines using Python and DBT, with a focus on ETL and scalable data processing.

You will collaborate with product managers, data engineers and business leaders to translate requirements into robust software solutions and to integrate healthcare data using FHIR standards. The role requires strong SQL and Git skills, plus experience with GCP tools and data warehouses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building data pipelines with Python.
• Hands-on experience building data models and transformations with DBT.
• Knowledge of complex data pipelines utilizing ETL processes.
• 4+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge and understanding of Git.
• 3+ years of experience with BigQuery and other GCP-native technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers and business leaders to translate requirements into software solutions for large data sets.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Python and data transformations in DBT; ensure ETL processes run efficiently.
• Build and maintain integrations for healthcare data using FHIR and related standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Optimize software performance for scalability and reliability.
• Stay updated on data processing trends and apply them to our products.
• Meet with stakeholders weekly to discuss priorities and requirements.
• Ensure new code deployments are tested and approved by stakeholders and leadership.
• Handle incoming support requests and errors promptly within required timeframes.
