Job summary

RevSpring Inc in Salt Lake City is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python, DBT, ETL) to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that process large data sets. You will collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and business leaders to translate requirements into robust software solutions.

You will implement DBT transformations, work with BigQuery and GCP-native technologies, ensure code quality through reviews, and align delivery with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building data pipelines with Python (required).
• 4+ years of experience using relational databases and SQL with complex data relationships (required).
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data modeling (required).
• Experience with DBT, BigQuery, and GCP-native tools (required).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker, Airflow, and Linux environments (required).
• Experience with healthcare data standards such as FHIR (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and business leaders to translate requirements into software solutions for processing large data sets.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Python and data transformations in DBT, ensuring ETL processes run efficiently and reliably.
• Build and maintain integrations for healthcare data using FHIR and related standards.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality codebase.
• Optimize software performance for scalability and reliability.
• Meet with stakeholders weekly to discuss priorities and project requirements.
• Ensure deployment of new code is tested and signed off by stakeholders and leadership.
