Job summary

SimpliSafe is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Operations Engineering team in a hybrid work model. You will design, implement, and maintain systems and APIs powering our customer experience platform and privacy tooling.

You will collaborate with other teams to drive improvements beyond your own scope. 5+ years of web development experience and strong Node.js/AWS skills are required, plus frontend framework experience with React/Angular and CI/CD proficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to design and ship production web applications and/or services independently.
• Strong experience building Node.js microservices.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS.
• Experience with Angular, React, or a comparable frontend framework.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
