Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer in Texas to design, develop, and test complex solutions across multiple technologies. You will lead code reviews, mentor engineers, and drive end-to-end troubleshooting of production issues.

The role requires strong security practices, cloud expertise (AWS, Kubernetes/EKS), and experience with complex integrations. You will collaborate across teams to shape architecture and ensure delivery across vendor and internal partners.

Qualifications

• 6 years of software development experience across multiple disciplines.
• 4 years delivering solutions across all phases of the SDLC, including reviews and cross-team delivery.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, SQL, Go, or Python in config, data, or integration work.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across UI, rules, data and messaging layers.
• Strong communication to explain technical topics to stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
• Security-focused with knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, containers, GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience delivering Business/Product Configuration on ALIP and integration with partners could be relevant.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex algorithms to solve business needs.
• Investigate and resolve production issues directing end-to-end troubleshooting.
• Mentor engineers and review teammates’ code.

• Identify performance issues and optimize solutions.
• Ensure risks are identified, measured, and controlled per policies.
