Datavant Senior Software Engineer leads major initiatives to scale and harden the platform. You will own architectural design, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure system-wide quality and reliability across microservices.

You will collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Security to set direction, mentor engineers, and drive performance, observability, and security improvements. We value data integrity and a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience developing and scaling distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in system design, cloud-native architectures, and backend frameworks.
• Proven record of leading major technical projects from inception to launch.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural design and end-to-end delivery for key systems or migrations.
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, and Security teams to set technical direction.
• Design scalable microservices and guide system decomposition initiatives.
• Drive performance optimization, observability, and reliability improvements.
• Mentor engineers at multiple levels and enhance team culture through best practices.
