Job summary

Saviynt is seeking a Distinguished Engineer, Data Platform, to own the end-to-end vision and execution for a single governed, multi-tenant data platform. Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as a Distinguished Engineer in distributed systems and data engineering, setting data architecture direction at an org-wide, multi-year level.
• Deep expertise with distributed database engines for mixed transactional/analytical workloads at scale, with benchmarking and production trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term architectural vision for unifying data across hundreds of isolated per-tenant systems into one governed, multi-tenant data platform.
• Define target end-state architecture and phased roadmap for ingestion, transformation, storage, and access.
• Set standards for schema governance, data contracts, and tenant isolation models.
