Job summary

Software Resources seeks a Senior Software Engineer for a major fintech client in Columbus, OH or Portland, OR. The role requires 4 days on-site with Fridays remote, and you'll work on a high-availability, multi-tier platform accessed globally.

You will collaborate with engineers, QA and business partners to design APIs (REST/GraphQL), and build with NodeJS, React, TypeScript, MySQL and NoSQL DBs while supporting production and code reviews. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 7+ years of Object-Oriented development experience.
• 3+ years of MySQL experience (designing/administrating).
• 4+ years of NodeJS experience.
• 4+ years of ReactJS experience.
• 4+ years of TypeScript experience.
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience.
• Experience with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with AWS + DynamoDB a plus.
• Good communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers to deliver solutions for clients.
• Collaborate with QA, business partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop and maintain multi-tier, high-availability platform.
• Provide production platform support and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to peer code reviews and best practices.
• Improve scalability, resiliency, and fraud monitoring.
