Job summary

Software Resources is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a fintech partner in Columbus, OH or Portland, OR. The role involves building a Payments-as-a-Service platform with a global, multi-tier system and production support.

You will work with a talented engineering group to design, implement, and optimize APIs using NodeJS, React, TS, and AWS services. Expect a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values quality and scalability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
7+ years of object-oriented development experience.
4+ years of NodeJS experience.
4+ years of ReactJS experience.
4+ years of TypeScript experience.
Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
Experience with Amazon API Gateway & Lambda.
Experience with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
Experience with AWS services is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers, QA, and business partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
Contribute to full software development life cycle for a multi-tier platform.
Participate in production platform support and issue resolution.
Perform peer reviews and foster good software engineering practices.
Improve scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance of systems.
Respond to urgent bugs in a timely manner.
