Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in backend software engineering for production services.
• Proficient in Go or similar languages and API design.
• Track record owning features end-to-end in fast-moving environments.
• Experience with financial or high-volume transactional systems.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant backend services for payment processing using Go.
• Own end-to-end delivery of payment features from design to production.
• Build platform primitives and self-serve APIs for new payment methods.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and leadership on technical plans.
• Improve reliability, observability and performance across payment services.
• Contribute to engineering quality through code reviews and design discussions.
