Software Resources has a direct hire opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer in Columbus, OH or Portland, OR. This fintech team operates in the digital payments space and emphasizes high-availability multi-tier platforms with global access.

You will join a talented engineering group, collaborate across teams, and contribute to production support and code reviews. Travel up to 25% may be required; a strong OO background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 7+ years of object-oriented development experience.
• 3+ years designing and administrating MySQL.
• 4+ years of Node.js experience.
• 4+ years of React.js experience.
• 4+ years of TypeScript experience.
• Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills.
• Experience with API frameworks (REST/GraphQL) and AWS services.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, small-team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to deliver solutions for clients.
• Work with peer developers, QA, and business partners to ship quality software.
• Develop across the full software lifecycle for a global, multi-tier platform.
• Provide production support and address urgent issues.
• Contribute to code reviews and follow best engineering practices.
• Proactively improve scalability, resiliency, and fraud monitoring.
• Adapt to a dynamic schedule with travel as needed.
