Job summary

Stripe, LLC is seeking a senior software engineer to contribute to strategy, design, and deployment of scalable infrastructure. You will build robust software that improves reliability and efficiency while balancing latency, throughput, and cost.

You should have 5+ years in software development, expertise in distributed systems, and experience with AWS/Azure/GCP. Telecommuting up to 50% is allowed, with a base salary range and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of progressive software development experience.
• Experience building distributed systems and cloud infrastructures.
• Ability to design scalable, cost-aware infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to team strategy, roadmap, tooling, process, and culture.
• Scope, design, implement, and deploy robust solutions, making appropriate tradeoffs between reliability, throughput, latency, resiliency, engineering velocity and cost.
• Innovate, design and implement software solutions that contribute towards improvement in infrastructure resiliency, reliability, efficiency and management at scale.
• Uphold our high engineering standards and improve our codebase and processes.
