Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; 4 years of experience in software development.
• Experience building software solutions in Python, Ruby, C++, or similar.
• Ability to translate business needs into software requirements and designs.
• Experience debugging production issues across services and multi-layer stacks.
• Experience with distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable computer systems that manage large volumes of data for Stripe and partners.
• Design and deploy adaptable rules systems for internal assessments and risk mitigation.
• Build tools to ingest and process signals for partner teams.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle and deployments.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Debug production issues across services and stack levels.
• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Stripe teams.
