What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Provide technical and thought leadership across multiple areas of the enterprise
• Collaborate with product managers, team members, and engineering teams to solve complex problems
• Develop and execute the software development strategy for the Observability Engineering domain
• Mentor and coach engineering and product community members, promoting best practices

What is Required (Qualifications):

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, platform architecture, and infrastructure management
• Hands-on experience building complex distributed systems with knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Advanced knowledge of at least one OOP language such as Java, Go, or Python
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or hybrid data centers
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• 3+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
• Experience architecting and designing Observability platform solutions
• Knowledge of big data and streaming data pipeline architecture (Lambda/Kappa)
• Familiarity with open-source monitoring software like Grafana and Prometheus
• Experience with continuous delivery (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code
