What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a key technical leader, breaking down complex engineering problems and advocating for best practices
- Ensure the team delivers high-impact work efficiently and make data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary leaders to enhance the product suite
- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and maintain a strong team culture
- Coach and mentor other engineers on technical requirements and implementation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Expert proficiency in full-stack engineering and experience with cloud-based systems/services
- Experience in technical coaching, including translating requirements and creating architectural proposals
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and achieving the best outcomes
- Strong mentoring skills and a commitment to the growth of team members
- Willingness to work near the employer's offices in Lincoln, Omaha, or Lexington, or remotely in Kansas City, Chicago, Austin, or Dallas
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional experience with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, C#, MongoDB, and AWS
- Background in sports technology, particularly with high-level college or professional American football teams
- Familiarity with hybrid teams and remote work environments
