Job summary

WiserBrand, a rapidly growing US-UA web development company based in New York City, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design scalable cloud-native backends. You will work with TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, and CI/CD automation, shaping APIs, data stores, and reliable deployments.

You will contribute to a distributed architecture and collaborate with product teams while mentoring others. A strong grasp of cloud security and agile practices is expected, with up-to-date AI-assisted development

Qualifications

• 7+ years backend software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building scalable, event-driven APIs and distributed systems.
• Strong AWS experience with Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, SQS/SNS, and EventBridge.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code: AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD automation.
• Understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and monitoring.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Practical use of AI tools in the development workflow.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure and integrations.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and engineering standards.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable cloud-native backend systems.

You will work with TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, CI/CD automation, and distributed architectures. We are looking for someone who can see the full system – from APIs and cloud infrastructure to data storage, deployment, and reliability.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of backend software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience building scalable, event-driven APIs and distributed systems
• Strong AWS experience with Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS/Aurora, SQS/SNS, and EventBridge
