Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, improve, and maintain the core package set that enables software distribution across development, hosted services, and embedded devices. You will package components with Nix, set standards, and train others to use the tooling effectively.

You will work autonomously in a complex environment, break down intricate problems, and contribute to scalable software infrastructure across the company.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Nix and experience at large scale deployments.
• Strong understanding of build systems and packaging ecosystems.
• Eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Experience with Rust, C++, Go, Python or Haskell.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an internal package set to enable software distribution across development, hosted services, and embedded devices.
• Package open-source and proprietary components using Nix.
• Improve developer ergonomics by defining Nix usage standards and tooling.
• Provide training and mentorship to other engineers.
