Real Time Consulting (RTC) is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to a Next Generation Flight Management System Flight Planning feature set in Phoenix, AZ. You will help develop software requirements, implement and test new NGFMS capabilities for embedded avionics.

The role requires a strong background in embedded software, DO-178 lifecycle, and experience with FMS flight planning modules. Collaboration across teams and adaptability to evolving project needs are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience developing software for embedded avionics.
• Knowledge of the DO-178 software development lifecycle.
• Experience developing and testing software for the FMS Flight Planning function.
